Adalicia has more than 14 years of experience in the behavioral health treatment field working with people with severe mental illness and those experiencing suicidality. She serves as the co-program director for the Altarum-led 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline’s National Crisis Response Systems Training and Technical Assistance Center. Adalicia has focused her career on the intersection between law enforcement and behavioral health services by developing collaborative relationships among both fields for healthier and safer community outcomes. She has experience training clinicians in compassionate management of suicidality, equitable care, and cultural humility. In her work in the crisis system of care, she is guided by her desire to implement of best practices that are inclusive and available to everyone, with a special focus on populations that are marginalized. She obtained a master’s degree in counseling community mental health from Cincinnati Christian University and is a Licensed Clinical Counselor- Supervisor (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. and is a Licensed Clinical Counselor- Supervisor (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio.
