Achieving the triple aim—better population health, better patient care, and lower costs—requires transforming the very structure of our health care system.

Altarum works with an array of stakeholders dedicated to such transformation, particularly in helping them to test new strategies, technologies, and services that improve patient care and safety.

These partners represent the spectrum of health care systems, from large urban areas to remote rural communities. Altarum experts work with teams in these communities to apply proven quality improvement methods that enable them to focus on their particular challenges and resources.

In the course of this work, we use ideas and methods that can be scaled up and adapted to work in other environments. Our expert teams include clinicians, quality improvement leaders, data and policy analysts, and communication professionals to assess and describe progress and share with others.
