Research Analyst, Business Advisory Services

Cydny Black PortraitCydny Black conducts qualitative and quantitative research for the Research Analytics subdivision of Altarum Institute’s Business Advisory Services. As an analyst, she assists with a spectrum of Altarum client project research activities, including data extraction support for the Defense Health Agency, literature review and report composition for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and program evaluations for the Health Resources and Services Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Ms. Black recently completed her MA in international communication at American University, where her studies were focused in global health and education. Before her graduate studies, she worked as an intern for the Bureau of International Information Programs Africa team within the U.S. Department of State. Ms. Black earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in international relations and French language and literature.
