Altarum works with American Institutes for Research on this national media campaign, developing partnerships and creating community engagement events with and for gay and bisexual men.
The campaign encourages men who have sex with men (MSM) to communicate with their partners about HIV/AIDS and other health issues, with the ultimate goal of reducing HIV/AIDS incidence and prevalence in MSM communities nationwide.
Altarum has identified influential partners, from national HIV/AIDS organizations to gay bloggers, artists, musicians, and HIV positive leaders to help reach men with health communication messaging and tools where they live, work, and play. We work with our partners to develop community engagement events that encourage, model, and facilitate communication between intimate partners in face-to-face, digital, and social media spaces.
The events will be held in conjunction with HIV/AIDS observance days and major gay Pride events in existing Enhanced Comprehensive HIV Prevention Planning (ECHHPP) and 12 Cities jurisdictions.
