KAI, a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Altarum, served as the Coordinating Center (CC) for the Pediatric Pharmacology Research Unit (PPRU) Network, providing personnel, facilities, and other services necessary to maintain and coordinate clinical treatment at 13 participating pediatric units.
Altarum studied the feasibility of designing a Web-based data system to use during a disaster to track and maintain the dispensing of medication to patients being treated for opioid dependence in the New York City metro area.
