Altarum has a long history of successfully supporting and spearheading a broad range of important public health initiatives. Through partnerships with leading health organizations at the national, state, and local levels, our STA members work to prevent disease and promote health and wellness for people of all ages and backgrounds.
These efforts bring systems-based solutions to improve health in both rural and urban communities, affecting people at every stage of life.
Altarum’s areas of focus range from developing strategies to control the cost of health care spending while allowing consumers to choose the types and cost of care they receive, to anticipating and planning for the specific health care needs of children, military families, and the nation’s growing aging population.
The pages that follow describe a sample of Altarum projects underway with a diverse group of community-based partners. Contact information for the Altarum staff members who lead these initiatives is provided and we welcome requests for additional information, suggestions and referrals from others in the public health care community who share our commitment to improving health and health care.
