Michigan Center for Effective IT Adoption (M-CEITA) Commercial Services Program Manager, Information and Technology Strategies

Laura Haeberle portraitLaura Haeberle has been working in health IT for the past 7 years. She started as a Clinical Implementation Specialist on the M-CEITA program and has quickly taken the reigns as M-CEITA’s Commercial Services Program Manager.

After engaging with practices to adopt, implement, and optimize electronic health record (EHR) technology, Ms. Haeberle was responsible for developing and rolling out key plans and tools to assist providers through meaningful use with technical and process improvement packages.

In her role as Program Manager, she is responsible for sustaining commercial services; maintaining and developing relationships with vendors, the state of Michigan, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; and managing the implementation specialists and subcontractors who deliver these services.

Since starting on the M-CEITA team, Ms. Haeberle has been responsible for bringing more than 100 providers to meaningful use and has assisted numerous practices realize the cost and time benefits EHRs offer, if used effectively.

Before coming to Altarum, Ms. Haeberle worked for McKesson, where she implemented five different software solutions in a hospital setting nationwide.

She holds a bachelor’s of business administration, with a major in computer information systems and a minor in general business, from Western Michigan University. Additionally, she recently received her Implementation Manager Health IT PRO credential.
