Altarum Fields a Survey of TRICARE Beneficiaries

Altarum hosts a secure online portal for the Health Care Survey of DOD Beneficiaries (HCSDB), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Defense Health Agency (DHA) Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs), Defense Health Agency, Analytics and Evaluation Division. 

The purpose of this survey is to collect information about the experiences patients have getting healthcare through TRICARE either on a military installation or in a civilian provider’s office. We want to learn from those who do and don’t use their TRICARE health benefit to make future improvements to healthcare delivery and the TRICARE benefit. 

Participation in the survey is by invitation only. Eligible beneficiaries will receive a letter in the mail with information about the study, a unique password to take the survey securely online, and answers to frequently asked questions. Eligible beneficiaries may also receive an email with survey log-in instructions.

If you have been contacted for this survey: participation in the survey is completely voluntary.  If you decide not to participate, it will not affect your health benefits or access to services in any way. All information from the survey is completely confidential. Your name is never associated with your answers. No personal identifiers will ever be used in any reports from this project.
