Rebecca Hagedorn-Hatfield Honored With 2025 SNEB Early Career Professional Achievement Award

Rebecca Hagedorn-Hatfield, PhD, RD, an emerging leader in public health nutrition, has been selected by the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior (SNEB) to receive its 2025 Early Career Professional Achievement Award.

As Food and Nutrition Evaluation Project Manager at Altarum, Hagedorn-Hatfield helps organizations improve nutrition security and prevent chronic disease through evidence-based strategies, evaluation, and research. She plays a crucial role in Altarum’s efforts to improve nutrition-related health outcomes.

“Becca brings a rare combination of scientific rigor, field experience, and deep commitment to helping people live healthier lives,” says Karah Mantinan, Program Director of Food and Nutrition at Altarum. “Her work has strengthened our impact across SNAP-Ed, WIC, and other key programs focused on improving nutrition and preventing chronic disease.”

Hagedorn-Hatfield received her award during the SNEB International Conference, held July 8-11.
