Altarum to Present at LeadingAge Michigan’s 2024 Annual Conference & Expo

Join Altarum at the 2024 Annual Conference and Solutions Expo hosted by LeadingAge Michigan, as Altarum will present on grief and bereavement practices for nursing home staff and residents on April 29th. This presentation will share lessons learned from Altarum’s work conducted with support from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund that involved a learning series focused on identifying person centered care strategies to improve mental wellbeing among residents and staff of Michigan nursing homes. The presentation will feature discussion on the impacts of grief and bereavement on those working and residing in nursing home communities and strategies to consider for mitigating such impacts.

Altarum offers deep expertise in addressing long-term services and supports (LTSS) challenges. Working with partners around the country, we’re developing tools to help states address direct care workforce shortage and leveraging quality improvement initiatives and hands-on trainings to transform nursing home culture.
