Training and Technical Assistance
Building Capacity. Driving Impact.
Altarum’s comprehensive training and technical assistance (TTA) services are making an impact across many of the most critical and pressing health issues facing the US. From increasing access to behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment to addressing early childhood disparities to supporting technology integration, our support ensures effective application of knowledge and evidence-based best practices, builds capacity, and leads to better outcomes.
We have decades of experience operating training and technical assistance programs for federal agencies such as Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and have recently been recognized by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) as a national TTA expert for our work strengthening coordination between community-based organizations and law enforcement across more than 20 states.
Altarum Medicare-Medicaid Services for States (AMMS) enhances state capacity by providing exceptional national expertise around dual eligible and long-term services and supports (LTSS) policy and program administration. Our state-specific, data-driven approaches meet states where they are along the continuum of knowledge, capacity, and expertise. We assess current situations and offer phased-in approaches to integration to achieve person-centered care—from gaining Medicare proficiency, to increasing coordination across the two programs, to implementing fully integrated programs. This includes hands-on training and assistance that leads to sustainable in-house dual eligible population and integration expertise.
Let’s talk about how our TTA expertise can help address your biggest health care challenges and achieve sustainable outcomes. See examples of our impactful work below.
