Sarah Slocum, deputy director of Altarum's Center for Eldercare Improvement, will speak at the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care's (C-TAC) National Policy Forum on May 12. The C-TAC Policy Forum offers attendees an insider-view of policies that can be used to drive change for those with serious illnesses across the country. This event serves as both a progress report on the state of serious illness care policy as well as a place to share new ideas and make commitments to advocate for people with serious illness and their families. This is a free, virtual event beginning at 12pm ET. Sarah Slocum is part of a panel that presents at 4:10pm ET on How Advocacy Can Strengthen the Serious Illness Care Workforce. The focus of this session is to review potential policies that affect the direct care workforce, and what policy changes could improve the workforce.
