Altarum and American Directions Research Group Field Survey of Women Veterans

Beginning in March 2023, Altarum will host a secure online portal for the 2023 Barriers to Health Care for Women Veterans Survey, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs’ (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Women’s Health.

The purpose of this survey is to collect information about women Veterans’ knowledge of, and interaction with, the health system and services offered by the VA.

Participation in the survey is by invitation only. Eligible women Veterans will receive a letter in the mail with information about the study, a unique password to take the survey securely online, and answers to frequently asked questions. Altarum is conducting the survey in partnership with American Directions Research Group, a telephone research company. If you receive a phone call from American Directions, but prefer to complete your survey online, please visit womenveteransurvey.org. Whether or not you are a current user of VA health care, we would like to hear from you!

Participation in the survey is completely voluntary.  If you decide not to participate, it will not affect your VA benefits or access to services in any way. All information from the interview is completely confidential. Your name is never associated with your answers. No personal identifiers will ever be used in any reports from this project.
