Altarum to Contribute to the 2024 Michigan Assisted Living Association (MALA) Annual Conference and Dementia Summit

Tune in to Altarum’s on-demand virtual session as part of the 2024 Annual Conference and Dementia Summit hosted by Michigan Assisted Living Association (MALA). The MALA Annual Conference and Dementia Summit will be held on May 6 & 7, 2024 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan.

With support from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, Altarum held a learning series that focused on identifying person centered care strategies that aimed to improve mental wellbeing among the residents and staff of Michigan nursing homes. This presentation offers lessons learned from that project targeting those providing residential, assisted living, vocational, and other community-based services. Listeners will hear about the many impacts grief and bereavement can have on staff, residents, and their families, as well as best practices to minimize those impacts.
