Colleen has more than 10 years’ experience in health care, including management, quality and process improvement, policy analysis, and conducting educational trainings. She has provided consultation to Michigan providers across the health care spectrum, aiding them in navigating the complexities of federal and state regulatory reporting programs. More recently, Colleen has focused on transforming nursing homes from institutional to person-centered communities as the project manager on comprehensive cultural change initiatives in Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky. This work combines intensive training, data analysis, and specialized quality improvement measurement tools to align desired changes with ongoing quality assurance efforts, ensuring lasting improvements. Colleen has a bachelor’s in health policy studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
