Dawn has more than 25 years of health care experience with expertise in gathering and analyzing electronic health record (EHR) data, process design, and readying provider practices to meet performance targets and quality improvement goals. With her extensive knowledge of physician practice workflows, she is a subject matter expert in the implementation of quality improvement projects and outcomes monitoring. Between 2011–2021, she helped numerous health care providers meet the requirements and attestation to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) EHR Incentive Program—also known as “Meaningful Use.” Through the Michigan Center for Effective IT Adoption (MCEITA), she provided direct support to increase the operational quality, efficiency, and security for Medicaid providers across the state. Dawn has a Bachelor of Science in health care administration from Baker College in Michigan.
