Tara Fowler serves as Altarum’s Vice President for Population Health and leads strategy and operations across the areas of community health, applied research and analytics, and delivery systems transformation. She leads teams on a variety of multifaceted technical assistance, facilitation, evaluation and research that supports and delivers insights to leaders of federal and state government health agencies. She has worked extensively with agencies across Health and Human Services, the Defense Health Agency and Veterans Affairs. Dr. Fowler has specific expertise in maternal, child and adolescent health, perinatal health and behavioral health and focuses her work to improve health equity.
Tara holds her Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College and her Masters in Public Health and a PhD in public health from the University of South Florida.
