Altarum to Present at the Association of Public Health Laboratories Newborn Screening Symposium

Altarum will participate in two poster presentations on the HRSA-funded Innovations in Newborn Screening Interoperability (INBSI) program, which seeks to improve connectivity between state public health newborn screening programs and health care providers.

Health Affairs Council on Health Care Spending and Value to Host Briefing on Recommendations for Moderating Health Care Spending and Growth

In 2018, Health Affairs assembled a distinguished group of 20 policy experts to form the Health Affairs Council on Health Care Spending and Value. The Council was charged with recommending ways that the US can take a deliberate approach to moderating healthcare spending growth while maximizing value. George Miller, PhD, Altarum Fellow and Research Team Leader, serves as a council member.

Community Care Corps Announces Latest Request for Proposals

Community Care Corps has launched the fourth grant cycle of funding for innovative local models using volunteers to assist family caregivers, older adults, or adults with disabilities. As a partner in the Administration for Community Living-funded initiative, Altarum is responsible for monitoring and evaluating Community Care Corp programs.
