Altarum is honored to present “Comparing FHIR Queried vs. Manually Submitted Birth Certificate Data: Lessons Learned” at the upcoming CDC Health Data Innovation Summit on September 27.

In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Public Health Informatics Institute (PHII) will host its annual virtual Data Modernization Workshop.  Altarum will participate on a panel on expanding public health data sharing through Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).

Altarum will attend the 2023 Hybrid HCBS conference, which takes place August 27–23 in Baltimore, Maryland. Join us for an in-person demo of the Direct Care Careers Center, an online platform that Altarum developed in partnership with ADvancing States which enables states to better engage, manage, and support their long-term services and supports direct service workers and providers.

Altarum Public Health Interoperability Expert, Craig Newman, PhD, is invited to present “Advancements in Birth Defects Interoperability” with a focus on Health Level 7 Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (CCDA) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).

The National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS) is the national nonprofit organization representing the state vital records and public health statistics offices in the United States.

Public Health Interoperability experts from Altarum, who are industry leaders in the practices of surveillance and epidemiology, will attend the 2023 Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists annual conference at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Altarum will attend the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs’ 2023 conference in New Orleans from May 6-9th.

Altarum’s Craig Newman, PhD, will present on the HL7 Helios FHIR Accelerator for Public Health’s efforts to encourage bulk sharing of immunization data at the AIRA 2023 National Meeting on May 3rd in San Diego, California.

At the On Aging 2023 conference, members of Altarum’s Delivery System Transformation team will share findings from our AHRQ-funded research exploring how PACE centers weathered the Covid-19 pandemic, and from a multi-faceted in-depth analysis examining the indirect benefits and economic impacts of nonmedical assistance provided at Community Care Corps grantee pilot sites.
